The Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing will to its best to encourage theoretical and practical development of child health nursing through academic and multi-discipline exchanges between members and to contribute health maintenance, health promotion, disease prevention and recovery for children and their families, including infants and adolescents.
Message from President of
Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing!
Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing (KACHN) is the most representative and outstanding academic organization for health care of infants, children, adolescents and their families. Most members of KACHN are faculties and researchers at academic institutes and child care specialists at hospitals and community settings. The activities of KACHN involve the publication of the journal, Child Health Nursing Research, two conferences per year on a regular basis, and empowerment program for junior scholars to enhance the competency in education and research on child health care.
For about 50 years of its history, Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing has been leading the academy and practice on research, theory and practice in a wide range of child health nursing. It serves both domestically and globally in practicing for health care of children and family.
We, Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing, keep our pride and responsibility for child health care and continue to perform our mission and duty as academic organization to eliminate health disparity and to equally provide justifiable accessibility of all kind of resource for children and their family.

To help children grow in an environment of security and health into the leading force of the society of the future, we will contribute to improvements in health and happiness of children through the exploration of nursing knowledge related to children and families and to developing and disseminating quality child nursing practice.
